Project Title:Pregnant Mother and Child Death Protection Project

Summary:
Maternal and child mortality remain significant public health challenges in many developing regions. This project aims to reduce preventable deaths among pregnant mothers and newborns by improving access to essential health services, strengthening referral systems, and raising community awareness on safe motherhood and child care.

The project focuses on comprehensive maternal and child health interventions, including antenatal care, safe delivery, postnatal care, nutrition support, immunization, and emergency obstetric services. It also emphasizes the training of health workers and community engagement to build a supportive environment for maternal and child well-being.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Project Title: COVID-19 Prevention and Response Project

Project Location: Upazila Sarishabari , Dist Jamalpur Bangladesh

 

Duration:      12 months

 Project Summary:

  • The COVID-19 pandemic has posed an unprecedented public health and socio-economic crisis worldwide. In vulnerable and underserved communities, the impact has been particularly severe due to limited access to healthcare, lack of awareness, and inadequate protective measures. This project aims to reduce the transmission and impact of COVID-19 through a comprehensive prevention, protection, and community response strategy.
  • The project will implement a range of interventions including public awareness campaigns, distribution of personal protective equipment (PPE), support for vaccination drives, community-based health surveillance, and capacity building of local health workers. Special attention will be given to protecting high-risk groups such as the elderly, pregnant women, people with disabilities, and low-income households.

 

Project Title: Telemedicine services

Key features of telemedicine services
  • Remote medical consultation: Through telemedicine centers set up in rural areas, patients can seek advice from MBBS and specialist doctors in the city via video conference.
  • se of advanced equipment: The patient’s physical information is collected using devices such as digital stethoscope, ECG, thermometer, blood pressure monitor, blood glucose meter, etc. This information is sent to the doctor via the internet.
  • Digital Prescription: The doctor creates a digital prescription for the patient, which the patient can print from the telemedicine center.
  • Laboratory Services: Patients can connect with a world-class pathology service called ‘Thyrocare’, where samples sent via courier are tested and reports are provided the next day.
